I know that fluff all around the ship hull (which is called greeble by the way) is trademark of sci-fi, and what i see on yours is modern variation greeble - more smooth but still with sockets. My question is, could you point what every single socket and grille on the ship does?
No harsh critique intended, i just thinking about possibility of building ships
-to internal systems (which at least loosely based on physics)
-to armor plating and how it can protect those systems,
-to external systems and weaponry assemblies
-to plating of those.
If you not sure - kerbal space program is right up your alley:
Now imagine most of these plugged in tight skeleton hull inside of semi-aerodynamic hull, complete with service lines and crew hallways, then build a plating around it - that's what i want to see in sci-fi more - more thought out designs.
