That's actually a good concept for storing numerous fighters. A top-side mutli-rponged docking claw from which it can drop away from. If you're that ace super style pilot, you don't let the autopilot guide you down and out, you wrest control and make a steep dive
Really love this one. Inspired me to do a whole hangar of this beautys in 3D. Still working on the interceptor-model though ^^ Guess i will do some of your frigates and heavy corvettes too But how about a new Taiidan Carrier concept? those cute little fellas have to be docked somewhere
Constructive Criticism: This is off. The smallest ship in Home World was measured in the tens of meters, and the largest in kilometers. That ship is too small. That or your pilots are Norse Giants.
Comment: The lighting, and coloring does indeed allude to the original art. Decent work. I too am a fan of the Home World series of game. I am sure that I spent at least six months of my life playing these games.
I used to have the books for the game with all the interesting little tidbits, but sadly it burned up with my last house. BUT, I do remember the corvette (which is only marginally larger (length-wise) than the fighters) being almost a block long. These were huge ships.
Although in the years since the game has come out, Relic may have changed the dimensions of the game. It happens.
